William Burnette

Bill Burnette has over 20 years of experience in the investment management business through several professional employment capacities.

 

Bill graduated from East Carolina University in 1984 with both a Finance and a Marketing degree and began his career as an investment sales representative with First Investors Corporation in Pittsburgh. In 1986, Bill was promoted to Division Manager and established his own regional sales office in Washington, PA where he personally hired and trained over 100 sales representatives.

 

In 1988, Bill co-founded Tri State Portfolios, an independent investment advisory company that specialized in managing assets for community banks and high net worth individuals. Tri State Portfolios has been providing top-notch investment advice for over 20 years now.

 

In 1994, Tri State Portfolios combined with RRZ Investment Management, Inc. and Bill began marketing RRZ’s institutional asset management business. In 1996, Bill became a shareholder and Vice President and was added to the Investment Policy Committee. Bill performed fundamental equity research, client retention, and eventually served as RRZ’s sales manager as the firm’s assets grew to approximately $1 billion under management.

 

During this time, RRZ’s investment performance ranked in the top quartile of all managers nationwide as RRZ had over 60 institutional client accounts invested in large cap equities and investment grade fixed income securities.

 

In 2005, Bill joined PRIMESolutions Advisors Inc., and continues to provide sound investment advice for his clients. 

 

Bill and his wife, Jamie, live in Upper St. Clair with their two daughters.
